Fashion from HTGAWM (How to Get Away with Murder) on ABC
The suspense-filled American drama series, How to Get Away with Murder, has officially entered into its sixth and final season on ABC and we know, we’re just as bummed as you are. In this “killer final season”, we’re still following around our favorite professor of defense law, the brilliant, seductive and charismatic Annalise Keating, played by the incomparable Viola Davis. We watch as she and her selected group of the best and brightest law students known as “The Keating Five”, Wes, Michaela, Asher, Connor and Laurel, are still navigating what it is like to be entwined in a murder plot. During the past 6 seasons the group has been tested time and time again as constant obstacles arise that expose everybody’s deep dark secrets, and tests their limits.
Although the show is one that contains endless mysteries, one thing that is no mystery is the groups’ “killer” sense of style. After all, Annelise Keating didn’t make it to #48 on Ranker.com ‘s “Best Dressed Female Characters on TV” list for nothing. This is because Costume Designer Lyn Paolo, who is also the Costume Designer for another hit “Shondaland” show Scandal, is no stranger to dressing powerful females.
Annalise Keating, a character so complex that where do we even start? Played by the brilliant Emmy, Tony and Oscar winner Viola Davis, she brings a whole new level of depth to this devious criminal defense lawyer. FUN FACT: Did you know that Viola Davis is the first African American woman to ever win the Triple Crown of Acting honor? So, not only is she a trailblazer in the fashion department but clearly in the acting department as well. In Season 6, we spot Annalise looking gorgeous while wearing Bonheur’s Sterling Silver Irene Ring. After all, when everybody’s attention is focused on what you are carrying around in your briefcase, you’ve got to make sure you’re rocking the best jewels/accessories/jewelry on your fingers.
One of our favorite female characters on the show is also none other than the fierce attorney at law, Tegan Price, played by the amazing Amirah Vann. In Season 6 Episode 4, “ I Hate the World”, we see Tegan take on Annalise in an outfit that commands just as much attention as her performance. Wearing a chic black and white Roland Mouret Atkinson dress, she completes her stylish look with a pair of Bonheur’s Sterling Silver Lilia Earrings.
The Style on How to Get Away With Murder Is so good, it's criminal. From the classroom to the courtroom, this cast very quickly made its case for one of the most stylish shows on television
